Nokia Lumia 720 Launched in India, available from mid April



Nokia the finnish mobile company has finally launched the Lumia 720 in India. These two smartphones were launched at a event in Delhi today. Nokia which has bet highly on the new Windows Phone 8 OS by Microsoft had earlier launched its flagship Nokia Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 in India. The new Nokia Lumia 720 smartphone was announced by Nokia at the recently concluded MWC (Mobile World Congress). The Nokia Lumia 720 is a new mid range Windows Phone 8 smartphone. The Nokia Lumia 720  has a 4.3 inch (400x840 pixels) clear black display. The processor is Qualcomm snapdragon MSM8227 with Dual cores at @1 GHz. The Nokia Lumia 720 has 512 MB of Ram which is a bit low from current smartphone standards. This means most of the high end games cannot be played in Lumia 720. The Rear Camera is  6.7 MP with Autofocus & LED flash, Carl Zeiss lens and 1.3 MP front Camera.

In connectivity it has 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.1, GPS / aGPS, NFC,A-GPS+GLONASS. It comes with an optional Wireless Charging back cover  which can be purchased seperately. The Nokia Lumia 720 has a 2000 mAH Battery. It would come with 2 GB free 3G data from Idea Cellular. It will be available in Red, Yellow, Cyan and Black colours. It is expected to be available from mid April and could be priced below Rs 20000.
