Nokia Lumia 520 Launched in India, available from mid April

Nokia has finally launched the Lumia 520 in India along with Lumia 720 at a launch event in New Delhi. The nokia Lumia 520 is a entry level Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Nokia. It was announced at the MWC last month. Today Nokia has launched this phone in India. The Nokia Lumia 520 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM 8227  Dual Core Processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS by Microsoft. It has a 4 inch (400x840pixels) display. It has 512 MB of  Ram, 8 Gb Internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB. The rear camera is 2 Mp with Autofocus & 720p Hd video recording.

Connectivity features on the nokia Lumia 520 include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS / aGPS. It comes with a 1430 mAH Battery which offers talktime upto 9.6 hours and 360 hours standby. Te Lumia 520 will be available in Red, Yellow, Cyan, Black and White. It would come withh 1 GB 3G Data from Reliance Communicatios. It would also come with pre-loaded Bigflix  app with 3 months free video streaming. It is expected to be priced at Rs 12000. It would available in market from mid April. Nokia has high hopes on the Windows Phone 8 OS to rescue its sinking business.
